The Gua Sha treatment for the skin is based on a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practice and is known as an energising and sculpting treatment for the face. It will get your skin moving, especially the blood circulating to help deliver nutrients where they are needed and to activate the lymphatic system (which is like the rubbish and waste removal of the body) to remove the toxins.  It will also work to move and help release the fascia, which is the superfine connective tissue under the skin.  Gua Sha be used on the face and body for wherever you need to energise, move and sculpt.
